'Hamas launched a terror attack in which about 600 innocent Israelis were killed, 2,700 Injured at the count of 7:00 am this morning, and a large number of civilians were kidnapped to Gaza during Simchat Torah, a day of profound spiritual significance.
It must be clear to everyone that this is a bloodthirsty organization, full of malice, and a war criminal.
In this war, we will prevail. Hamas will regret the day it started it. Our hearts are with the families of the victims, and we all pray for the well-being of the injured and the kidnapped and for the success of our beloved soldiers.'
