What resurrected my wretched memories is that recently I attended a webinar organized by Emet Online where Anne Bayefsky presented the latest UNHRC Resolution - a perpetual inquiry into Israel’s conduct during the war that HAMAS waged upon Israel last May in the “Occupied” Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.:”
The Resolution is mandated to investigate all Israel’s “alleged” violations of international humanitarian rights. Its intention is to condemn Israel and Israeli leaders, and destroy the only home of the indigenous Jewish people. Read here
The UN, an International Organization was created to maintain peace and security and friendly relations among nations.
And yet, today, once more we are threatened by the UN singling out Israel, to falsely condemn her 17 times more in 2020 versus 6 times for the rest of the world combined.
If this is not a clear violation of its mandate—then What is?

JANUARY 17TH MARKED 77 YEARS SINCE RAOUL WALLENBERG’S DISAPPEARANCE
Inauguration in 1996, of the Wallenberg Memorial By the Canadian Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Committee
A solemn virtual commemoration was held in tribute to Raoul Wallenberg, Canada’s only Honorary Citizen, attended by guests from Sweden and Canada.
The event was organized by George Preger, Co-Founder and CEO of OVED Human Rights.
It was attended by Sweden’s Ambassador Urban Ahlin, Consul General Lars Henriksson, Ambassador Ann Bernes, who will assume the chair of the IHRA in March.
Special guest, The Hon. Professor Irwin Cotler, PC, OC, QC. Founder and International Chair of The Raoul Wallenberg Centre of Human Rights and Canada’s Special Envoy on preserving Holocaust Remembrance and combating Antisemitism, also attended.
Lisa Klug, Chair of Educators Against Antisemitism - EAA, delivered an eloquent speech, holding up Raoul Wallenberg as a role model for students and how one person – with courage, selflessness, and bravery -- can make a difference.
INTERNATIONAL HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMEMORATED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD January 27, 2022
Seventeen years ago, the UN declared January 27 International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
On this day the world remembers the 6,000,000 victims of the Holocaust, an unprecedented genocide, perpetrated by the Nazi beasts, driven by Antisemitism.
It also recognizes the liberation of Aushwitz-Birkenau, concentration and extermination camp in 1945.
A dignified event was held by Israel Coalition for Israel – ICI, a.k.a. European Coaliton for Israel-EC4I. This followed the October 2021 symposium that launched an educational campaign, inviting local churches to adopt the IHRA working definition of antisemitism.
Tomas Sandell expressed his thanks to those churches and networks who have already adopted the IHRA working definition due to ECI’s previous efforts.
